As a 100% mineral sunscreen, Sjolie Mineral Defense uses Zinc Oxide to create a physical barrier on the skin, reflecting and scattering UV rays before they can be absorbed. Unlike chemical sunscreens, which work by absorbing UV radiation and converting it into heat, mineral sunscreens provide immediate, broad-spectrum protection without the risk of irritation or spray tan fading. Physical, also known as mineral sunscreens, work by sitting on top of the skin and physically blocking or reflecting UV rays, providing broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. We prefer mineral sunscreen for its gentle formulation, which is suitable for sensitive skin, and its ability to preserve the integrity of spray tans without chemically interacting with the skin.

Our formula utilizes micronized zinc oxide to provide effective sun protection while minimizing the white residue often associated with mineral sunscreens. It blends seamlessly into most skin tones for a natural finish.

Our gentle, mineral-based formula is suitable for the whole family, including children. However, we recommend consulting with a pediatrician before using any new skincare product on young children.

How To Use

Shake before use. Apply generously and evenly to the face and body 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after swimming or sweating, after towel drying, or at least every 2 hours. Consult with a doctor for children under 6 months of age.
